The United Workforce Development Board (UWDB) serves as the corporate board for the non-profit organization by of same name.  UWDB, doing business as Career Link, administers Title I services under WIOA in eight counties across Central Illinois.  The corporate board selects the Executive Director responsible for daily operations, and oversees personnel oversight for Career Link.  The organization is contracted by the WIB and County Consortium Board to deliver WIOA services, with Career Link functioning as the fiscal agent, overseeing financial management and compliance. Overall, the board ensures the organization effectively fulfills its mission to provide high-quality workforce development services in accordance with federal and state regulations.
